Reminessing...Donny

While making my granddaughter, Eva, French Toast sticks this morning for breakfast I remembered a morning back when my now 24 year old son, Donny, was 4. I was in the kitchen making French Toast for breakfast.. Donny came to the kitchen and said "whatcha doin' mommy?" I said "making French Toast". Don said "I know how to make French Toast". I responded "you do? Tell me how? Donny, with a huge smile on his face and his baby blue eyes sparkling said proudly.. "You just take toast and french it!"

HAHA..that really made my day and I still think about and hear the excitement in his little voice that morning!
